For the first visit, I wasn't prepared to invest the time necessary to fill out paperwork. However, given the work I do in the field of addiction, equity and insurance parity, I was impressed with the documents offered explaining many important topics. The wait then was a bit long; however, when finally seen, I was impressed with the preparation of the PA. He had reviewed my background, previous tests, etc. and we had a very productive "next step" plan put in place. I'll continue with my care for now and see if this level of support continues.

Front receptionist and MA were very friendly helpful and personable! Doctor came in listened and asked questions did an exam and I felt like she actually listened and didn’t push pains medication, but gave options and started with a plan. Very pleased so far with the practice.

I am very impressed with the care Dr. Patel his Assistant and the Columbia office Staff! Dr.Patel is very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient and really cares about his patience! The front desk staff are always friendly and great you with a 😊 smiling face. I have never had a bad experience or felt uncomfortable asking any and all questions concerning my health. I don't feel rushed during my visit with him like at other Dr. Appointments. So I would highly recommend this practice and also the one in Catonsville to anyone who is in need of pain management!

Very nice and professional place. Staff are very personable and kind. The doctor Dr Amid is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he keeps up to date on all the latest Medications and treatments. I originally had my first impression of the Laurel location was not so good but now I know that that they do a great job and really care about their patients.They are the least judgemental of all the pain management groups that I have been to definitely would recommend them.

Dan Mariam Hameed Is extremely friendly, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. It’s hard to find people like her in this world, with so many that are uncaring, don’t even know how to smile or treat others with dignity and respect, Dr. Hameed is a diamond in the ruff. She is one in a million.

I really like Dr Amit Patel. He is very attentive to your needs while at the same time he has a sense of humor that makes you feel comfortable while at the same time he’s explaining to you what is going with your health. He wants you to feel better and not go through so many obstacles when treatment is really needed. Not to mention the staff will not be right.
